Talking useless items

anybody else found any strange weapons or items such as those that apply to a 3/proffesion char or with mods that just cant be used post your pics here especialy none upgradable weapons and items cos no doubt some 1 will rush out and make a crazy wep themselves.

so far iv found a mesmer wep think it was cane with cast and recharge on it 1 for elem and 1 for necro (hmm dont see to many mes/elem/necs around)
also found a fire staff 13 req with 17% recharge on divine
sold both before thinking of making this post but will add screens of any more i find

i have a half moon of pruning, GO +17% vs. PLANTS!!!!
also, tengus? why in the world would i want +11% vs. tengus?

Well it's a bit narrow, sure, but I can think of worse things to do extra damage against -- those bastards are tough, and if you had a costomized +15% bow with that Tengu grip you'd be doing +46% damage against them! As something to swap to it could be quite good even.


Anyone know what what the most deadly plant in Tyria is? 'Cause plants take lots of extra damage from fire, so it might be interesting to put together a special bow just for that (not that I've found any to be a particular nuisance, mind you)..

the plants that are the hardest are in the crystal desert right outside thirsty river mission. go there and theyll be the things that pop out of the ground, im pretty sure those are plants...i think....lol

Ill double check on that...but i thought plants were mostly in magguma styled areas. i dont recall plants in the desert...

Lol, ya they could be. Or it could be my own wishful thinking to have access to a third class just so I could have an Ele/Nec with Ranger ans the third so I could have a cute little pet following me around!

Well... the ONLY situation I can think of would be spells like Inspired Hex where it gets replaced by an enemy skill. Thus, you could in theory have skills from 3 different classes.

Even still... cmon Anet...

Useless items... Charrslaying on weapons found in the desert.

All those Aloe type monk creatures are plants and a lot of the creatures in the jungle are plants.

The focus item that gives 20/20 to Soul Reaping is fairly useless too.

Ya I had a nice air staff max 8 req with a +4 insight and +5 def upgrade on it with an 18 to fire recharge and a 17 to earth recharge on it. Had a value of something like 468 on it. I carried it a couple days looking for an ele that might take it. But I salvaged it this morning and got the +4 insightful of it. If I can't sell that I will throw it on my mesmer cane.

The upgrade mods are probably rolled independently of the inherent weapon mods;

The third attribute in both cases come from a staff wrapping of +1 to an attribute. Anyone could make one of those staves by salvaging a wrapping and applying it to a 2 profession attribute staff.

As for damage bonus to XXX mods, those might see use for farmers of a certain type of monster. I don't think I've heard of anyone using them, but it's possible. The damage bonus DOES go up to 20%. Looking at the second lowest possible modifier isn't a fair comparison. Combined for +55% damage per hit shouldn't be that bad, and max damage collector's items are easy enough to get. Good luck finding a +20% slaying mod though.

Lol, and paired with Echo and Arcane echo, 3/8 of the skills would be from the person, but them being the same attribute and not from another class is somewhat slim.

alrdy tried just got 28 wood instead but then again i alrdy have a +30 hale and cant sell that or anthing else on my sale thread for that matter
